Character Development:

1. What is your full name? 

My full name is Betty Blair Meg Rizzo, but everyone just calls me Rizzo.

3.  When & where were you born?  current age?

I was born on September 13th 1941 in California , I am currently 18 years old.

5.  What is your occupation?

I do not currently have a job, I am too busy with finishing high school and dealing with the

constant drama in my life. But soon I might need to get one if I plan on keeping this thing inside

of me … or maybe I could just marry a marine like Marty. Have him support me, send me rings and

stupid kimonos!

6.  Who is your greatest role model?

My role model is Marilyn Monroe, this is because she is effortlessly beautiful and classy

! Men love her and women want to be her. I want to be loved by people the way they love her,

she can do anything she wants without being questioned or put down. She is a sex icon and no

one judges her for it, unlike the way people view me. Furthermore, she is confident in her body

and does not care what anyone else thinks of her. I strive to have the confidence she does, but I

think it can just come across as rude and cocky. 

7.  What secrets do you have?

I might be pregnant, I'm not sure yet but if I am I have no idea

about how to look after a baby. I already have a reputation for getting around and if any one finds

ut I have no clue what they will think of me or what I am going to do with myself. There is no way

I can get an abortion, there illegal and I could get my self in to way more trouble then I am already

in. 

8.  What are your deepest fears?

My deepest fears are bringing a child into this world and everyone has preconceived thoughts

about me. I know if I have this baby everything is going to change and not for the better, my family

will be furious and we live in a small town so word will get around. Everyone is going to judge me. 

9.  Who do you hate?  love?

I love Kaneki, he is so hard working but that is also his downfall he constantly talks about the car,

working on the car, driving the car and turning into a so called “greased lightning”.

Sometimes I feel like he loves that car far more than he loves me. I hate Sandy she is so prim

and proper and it gets on my nerves. She comes to our school and everyone loves her, but I

don’t see the fuss, she doesn't smoke or drink and she takes everything so seriously if she is going to

be hanging around with the pink ladies she's got to get with it! Otherwise she can go back to her hot

coco and girl scout cookies!

11.  What are your hobbies?

My Hobbies are smoking and drinking with my friends. We like going to diners and having sleepovers.

All the pink ladies are going to Martys’ at the weekend, but sandy is going to be there and that chick

is becoming a real pain! I just don’t really think that she’s Pink Lady material!

Tuesday 12th November

 

We began today's lesson with a read through of the play, this is automatically different from devising

a show because we have our script prepared in front of us. Ware as when devising, the first part of

the process would usually be researching and exploring stimuli. We do not need to come up with a

concept or story line so we can jump straight into rehearsal. This does not mean you do not need to

research as you must develop your character and know who you are playing, in order to create an

interesting and realistic portrayal of the character. After we finished reading the script and deciding

the scenes: the Sleepover scene and the Greased lightning scene, we delegated the roles out so we

all had an even amount of lines. I am going to play Rizzo and Danny Zuco. When we began to learn

the first song “Freddy My Love” we separated out the lines so that we had smaller parts to learn
